Make Your Own Extravaganza!

This thanksgiving weekend, you will have the opportunity to make your own unique creations at the Tiverton Studio! Each day, a different project will be offered. You can come make your project and return to the studio the following week to pick up the completed creation! If you cannot return to the studio for pick up, shipping is available for an additional cost.

Projects Offered

Friday, November 23rd: MAke Your Own Plate

You will use stamps, leaves and other found objects to create texture and designs into the clay and then shape it into a plate. You can then choose your color and the piece will be fired and glazed, ready for pickup starting December 1st. $10/plate

SATURDAy, november 24th: Make Your own Mug

Using a pre-made cylinder, you will use stamps, leaves and other found objects to create texture and designs into the clay to design your own mug. A handle can be added (optional). You can then choose your color and the piece will be fired and glazed, ready for pickup starting December 1st. $15/mug

sunday, November 25th: make your own ornaments

Much like making cookies, you will roll out a slab of clay and use cookie cutters (or you can create your own shape) to cut out your ornament. You will then be able to paint and decorate the ornament as you choose. The pieces will then be glazed and fired, ready for pickup starting December 1st. $10/two ornaments.

How to Register

If you would like to sign up, you can use the e-scheduling available below. Please choose from one of the three days using only the corresponding day with the event. You are not required to pre-register, but it will reserve your spot. Due to space considerations, there is a limit to four (4) people per twenty minute session.

PLEASE NOTE: Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration. While clay is washable, please wear clothes that can get dirty. Working with clay is not necessarily a clean activity. There are no restrooms available in the studio. Please plan accordingly.
