This mug was hand-made from porcelain clay on the potter's wheel by Lindsey. It is glazed with a multitude of colors that starts with my 'iced caramel' color and fade into a blue, with hints of olive green along the way. A truly unique mug!
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece. Copper is used in the glaze in order to achieve the deep green color.
