This piece was handmade on the potter's wheel by Lindsey from porcelain clay with a fluted rim. This piece has blue crystals one a blue background. The images do not fully capture the beauty and depth of the crystals which seem to dance about the surface.

Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The zinc crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
