The piece was hand-made on the potter’s wheel and glaze fired to cone 5 (over 2200 degrees F) in an electric kiln.

12.5” diameter and 5.5” tall

The bowl has a wonderful 'deep blue' color with white flowing over the rim & edges with the inside being a deep blue at the bottom. The glaze looks very rich and deep with a melting of the colors together- looking like waves hitting the sand along the sea shore. This piece is microwave and dishwasher safe (although it is a bit large to be used to either appliance).
