This piece was hand made on the potter’s wheel from porcelain clay. The has olive green crystals on an olive green background color.

The crystals you see on the vase are actual zinc crystals that were formed during the firing! Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process (which reaches over 2300 degrees Fahrenheit). The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
