This mug was hand-made from porcelain clay on the potter's wheel. Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The zinc crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
