This piece was handmade on the potter's wheel by Lindsey from porcelain clay. It is glazed with a light blue crystalline glaze with crystals wrapping around the vase that gives a multitude of depth and dimension to this piece.

It has blue crystals on light blue background with a white interior. There are some small secondary iron crystals as well on the background.
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
