This piece was handmade on the potter's wheel by Lindsey from porcelain clay. It is glazed with a teal blue crystalline glaze with crystals wrapping around the jar that gives a multitude of depth and dimension to this piece. It measures 10" tall and is 7"w. Without the lid, it measures 7" tall and has an opening of 3.5" diameter.
It has light blue crystals on light blue/teal background with and a white interior. Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
