The piece has lovely royal blue/silver zinc crystals on a royal blue and white background. These crystals actually GROW during the firing and cooling process! No two pieces are ever alike. The bright Ruby and blue crystals have a silver shimmer and dance about the dark blue background.
- The piece measures 10.5"h x 5.75” at its widest point.
This vase was handmade on the potters wheel from porcelain clay by Lindsey and fired to over 2300 F in an electric kiln. It was then fired again in a gas kiln to create the Ruby and metallic colors.
