This listing is for one crystalline glazed vase.
This vase was hand-made from porcelain clay on the potter's wheel. Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The zinc crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.

The glaze on this vase has teal blue crystals which jump off the orange background. The depth and dimension in the glaze are quite stunning- the crystals seem to move and dance about the surface of the vase as the light hits it. This vase is covered in many crystals with hints of the orange background peeking through. You can sit for hours looking at the vase, finding new patterns and designs that the crystals have created during their growing process.
