Frequently Asked Questions

Can this go in the microwave and dishwasher? Yes! Items that are made to be functional items (holding or serving food), can go in the microwave or dishwasher. 

Items such as a raku horse or airplant vase should not go in the microwave or dishwasher as they were not intended to be used for food purposes. 

Is the work lead-free? Yes, all of my glazes are lead-free. All of the items that are made to be functional items (holding or serving food), use food-safe glazes. 

Did you make all of these pieces? Yes, all of the pieces were made by Lindsey in the Tiverton studio. 

Do you offer classes? No, I do not offer classes at this time. Occasionally, one-time workshops are available at the studio. You can visit the news page to see if there are any upcoming workshops. 

Where can I see your work in person? You are welcome to make an appointment to visit the Tiverton studio. You can also view the work at select galleries and local art events. 

Shop policies

Lindsey Epstein Pottery offers functional and decorative pottery and sculpture. From everyday mugs to enjoy your coffee to elegant crystalline vases and unique horse sculpture, Lindsey strives to bring you high-quality, hand-made objects for you to enjoy.

Returns and exchanges: I gladly accept returns and exchanges. Contact me within 14 days of delivery. Ship items back within 30 days of delivery. Items can be returned in the original packaging at the buyers expense. Shipping charges cannot be refunded. 

Cancellations: An order can be canceled prior to shipment. Once an order has been shipped, the item can be returned at the buyers expense. Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged: Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for custom or personalized orders.  

Returns and exchange details: We offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you are not fully satisfied with the piece you receive, please contact Lindsey for refund/exchange information. If a piece was damaged during shipment, please contact Lindsey for more information. Each piece is carefully packed to ensure proper handling. Shipping charges cannot be refunded once an item has shipped. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. 



Once payment is received, your items will be shipped carefully via Standard mail service. If you would like a rush order (overnight, 2-day or 3-day shipping), please contact Lindsey for rates and more information. International shipping is accepted. If the shipping cost ends up being less than you paid, you will receive a refund for the excess shipping charges.

Once an order is shipped and accepted by the shipper (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) it is out of my control. I will do my best to assist if issues arise, but you would need to contact the shipper if you feel there are inaccuracies with a shipment. Orders are insured for up to $100 of the item value. If you would like to add excess coverage, please contact me ahead of time to add that to your shipping cost. Items stolen, lost or damaged during shipment are out of my personal control.
