This piece was hand made on the potter’s wheel from porcelain clay by Lindsey and measures
- 6.5” tall and approx. 3.75" diameter.
This piece has a few large blue/green zinc crystals with light blue and silver halos that float on a pewter, silver and blue background with smaller secondary titanium crystals shimmering in the background.
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process (which reaches over 2300 degrees Fahrenheit). The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
