This listing is for one wallflower.
This piece was handmade from porcelain clay by Lindsey, one petal at a time. After cutting out and shaping each flower petal, they were assembled to represent a dahlia flower.
After the initial bisque firing, it was glazed with a special crystalline glaze where zinc crystals actually GROW during the firing and controlled cooling process.
The copper and ruby color crystals cover the petals with hints of rainbow ruby iridescence along the edges. The color changes depending on how the light reflects off the surface.
- 6” diameter
- overall height of just about 2.5” (how far it sticks out from the wall).
To hang, you simply need a nail or screw inserted at an upward angle into the wall and rest the flower on the nail.
