This mugs were thrown on the potter’s wheel and altered while wet to create a swirling effect. The mugs alterations allow them to be held comfortably without using the handle (if you so choose).

The glaze is a jet black color with white breaking over the edges, like waves breaking on the shore. The mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe. They are made from stoneware clay were fired in an electric kiln to cone 5 (~2200 degrees F).
