This listing is for one shallow bowl/platter.
This piece was hand-made from porcelain clay on the potter's wheel by Lindsey. The bowl is a white/ivory and emerald green/blue colored crystalline glazed piece. The crystals on this bowl are a silvery blue color on the aqua that fades into a deep blue. Where the glaze pools in the center of the bowl, the color changes to a deep color with crackle patterned glaze. The exterior is a clear white glaze and has an aqua color cascading down from the rim.
- 12” diameter and 2.25” tall.
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece. To learn more about crystalline glazes, please visit www.lepottery.com. This piece is lead-free and food safe. Due to its size, hand washing is recommended.
