The piece was hand-made on the potter’s wheel and glaze fired to cone 6 (over 2200 degrees F) in an electric kiln.

The plate has a wonderful 'deep blue' color with white flowing over the rim & edges. The glaze looks very rich and deep with a melting of the colors together. This piece is food safe and microwave and dishwasher safe.
