This bag will be an assortment of 10 SECONDS dahlia tubers. This mixed assortment of tubers will vary, and the variety may or may not be marked on the tuber. These tubers will be smaller or slightly wrinkled, but they will still produce great plants all season! All will have visible sprouts or eyes.
PLEASE NOTE: there is no guarantee with these tubers. You will be sent ones with eyes or sprouts that want to grow, but some might not end up making it in the end. I do suggest starting these indoors in pots or bags to give them your best chance.
Varieties may include: Dinnerplate dahlias, waterlily, cactus, mini blooms, pom-poms, decorative dahlias, etc.
Planting: Your tubers can go directly into the ground in the spring when the ground has warmed and there is little chance of frost. One good guideline is to plant in the same time frame as you would a tomato. If you want blooms as early as possible, you can start the tubers indoors in good light about a month before planting time. You will then have a small plant ready at planting time. Dahlias can be planted as late as mid-June in most parts of the country.
