Temple of Beauty dahlia tuber.
1 tuber.
This dahlia is a decorative type that produces large, 6" fully double flowers of a 4-6' tall plant. Each flower is a unique color pattern in shades of red, yellow, pink and white. The overall effect is nothing short of shocking! Some are more solid pink with white highlights on the edges.
There is a lot of variety in the colors of these flowers (see photos). Some are pink & yellow striped. Flowers start out as a darker pink early in the season and change with more yellow as the season progresses. A farm favorite!

Planting: Your tubers can go directly into the ground in the spring when the ground has warmed and there is little chance of frost. One good guideline is to plant in the same time frame as you would a tomato. If you want blooms as early as possible, you can start the tubers indoors in good light about a month before planting time. You will then have a small plant ready at planting time. Dahlias can be planted as late as mid-June in most parts of the country.
