This piece was handmade on the potter's wheel by Lindsey from porcelain clay. It is glazed with a deep ocean blue crystalline glaze with silvery crystals wrapping around the vase with a deep blue background that gives a multitude of depth and dimension to this piece.
- 3" tall and is 2.75" at its widest point.
The surface has a satiny finish and feel to it that is lovely to hold.
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
