The zinc crystals covering the surface of the piece are a light ivory on a light background with ivory/gold crystals.
These crystals really glow in the light! Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process (which reaches over 2300 degrees Fahrenheit). The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
