This piece was hand made on the potter’s wheel from porcelain clay.

2.5” tall and approx. 3.25” diameter.
The zinc crystals covering the surface of the piece are a bright white color with a white background. These crystals really glow in the light! The white crystals are difficult to photograph, but magnificent in person.
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process (which reaches over 2300 degrees Fahrenheit). The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece.
